went to the football field to catch the sunset sky but the subway train was delayed so the sun had well set when i got there. i have not taken a photo of this bridge since last fall (see http://365project.org/summerfield/365-still/2013-10-05 ) - i might have in the winter but i'm not very sure - so i thought catch it during the blue hour. this is facing south-east. it was not possible to include the visible towers of downtown toronto which should have been to the right of this view. but i will stalk this place during the summer to find the most advantageous vantage point to get that bridge and the downtown skyscrapers.
i've been wanting to take light trails again and i'm quite happy with this.

@northy - bridgepoint. there's a bridge that goes over the don valley and the river going to the other football field on the west side of bayview. that same bridge has a set of very steep steel steps (hehehe - say that fast, try it!) going down the don trail by the river and the tracks. i'll take you there one day, if you want. when you're standing on that little bridge, you get to see this bridge i was on and another bridge farther up with street cars going through.

@summerfield Come on down! I was thinking about trying to come UP to you this summer, but now I am saving for that Paris in Dec. trip. So...won't have any money to fly anywhere else. Boo hoo!
