mellow yellow

i wanted to buy this plant yesterday but the dictator said no just because the plant people said it was an annual. who cares, they're so pretty. so we ended up getting yellow lilies which are perennials. plus i couldn't reach this as it was on a higher shelf. :-P

i thought of doing a series this week but that promptly got foiled because i forgot what series i was thinking of. so methinks i will make the mondays in june flower mondays. definitely flowers.
