the tulip from seven days ago at the start of the challenge. in its withering stage, the red figment has gotten stronger and the yellow figment is now only visible in the top edges of the petals, but the textured lines on the petals, however, are more noticeable and pronounced.
i'd have posted a better subject but all my shots this morning were blurry. it was so cold i didn't realize my hands were shaking from being frozen, and i couldn't save any with post-processing.
