once again, my go-to model indulged me today with an 80's get up. the bubble gum was quite difficult to do because it kept popping. but christine, bless her heart, was as always very patient. still i can't get over how she loves the camera and the camera loves her.
over at mad hatters, the theme this week is the 80's. that was the decade i hit my thirties so let's see what i can remember anything from it.
madonna and cindy lauper were big hits in manila, i hated both.
michael jackson's "thriller" was the bigest hit in terms of video and whatever else, i didn't care much.
simon and garfunkel reunited at a concert in central park, i loved it - watched it live via satellite and even had it audio recorded.
big hair, didn't care for that. lots of bling, couldn't wear fake.
harem pants, i loved those because i didn't have to watch how i sat down. :-)
shoulder pads! wow! i had a big love affair with shoulder pads until 2000. i had them in all sizes and colours. must dig out the picture where i looked bigger than steve young when he won the super bowl.
the best one was the handheld game 'game boy' and my favourite game was donkey kong!
tagging this, too, for the current six-word story challenge.
