old filipino ladies who know how to cook would thumb their noses at me for not knowing how to separate eggs without using this device. but this has always been my trustful friend whenever i have to make leche flan or creme caramel. the last time i made creme caramel was two years ago. maybe i shall make a couple for the holidays. :-)
thank you for sending my dough blender photo on to the pp. you folks are awesome with your favs and views and comments; know that they are always greatly appreciated.
also my "auguries of innocence" photo is a finalist for get-pushed #173. might you want to mosey on down to the discussion page and cast your vote. as always, i ask you to vote for the photo you think is worth your vote and should win. here's the link: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/26745/vote-get-pushed-173
Congratulations on getting on the PP once again! This one really is perfect for it! I love that you have the original egg separator (egg shells) and a little pop of color to pick up the color of the separator included! It is a beautiful composition to include the reflection so nicely too!
Too late to vote- didn't even see the vote- but it's been a busy week with the water heater being replaced, Thanksgiving and all kinds of photo club responsibilities. A good busy, but tends to wipe me out and the arthritis is worse. All that being said, I like both this shot (I separate my eggs using the shell, but this looks much handier!). It could be and advertisement it's so nicely composed. And I also like the Get Pushed Shot- very retro-atmospheric-memorylike/symbolic/lovely capture.
