an icy mix in black and white

i wanted to see what it would look like in black and white. i want to say that the texture of the shaved ice and the scoop of ice cream is more pronounced, but i'm also seeing it's not. maybe i'll do food photography for the week. then again, maybe not because the only time i forget about photography is when there's food in front of me.
