two white paper measuring tapes/rulers i swiped at an ikea store last weekend. i etsooi'd the darn shot to an almost sound demise.

I'll hand on the advice I was given... Once the mundane challenge winner is announced, and they pick an object, all you do is go to Themes and Competions, start a new topic and basically copy and paste someone else's challenge changing dates, the subject to be photographed and adding the ruler to the list of objects used already.

You then get to choose the finalists. And when voting closes, do the count & then announce the winner.
