this is not an emulation of any of larry towell's photographs but taken in his style of showing people in their everyday element. here, two couples while away a beautiful sunday afternoon picnicking at a park in michigan east of indiana border. a slice of ordinary people's ordinary lives.
Very nice interpretation of his style. I'm especially grateful that you were not able to copy any of his war time images. I have looked through his project and hope to be able to enter your competition but not quite sure if I can get it done or what I would choose to copy at this point
What I like about a picnic is the preparation and then the appreciation of not having to do anything else but enjoy the surroundings! In Toronto now on 28th and 29th May at the Sheraton GatewayToronto, Vikki.
