anthurium by summerfield

anthurium

busy at the office, running out of ideas and what to shoot, and people chasing me for their photos. i am a big slacker but maybe i will have more time when i retire, if i'm not dead yet.

so you get a still life today. this is last week's reception flowers, or part of it (the rest of the arrangement is here. yes, a long time ago, i had this dream of becoming an ikebana decorator. or maybe i was in one of my many other past lives. whatever.

there's a new abstract mundane challenge, kind folks. i'm looking forward to your participation. in fact i'm counting on your putting in an entry or two. please! please! please! i beg you!

love these flowers - beautifully captured - will do my best to be mundane and abstract!

These are interesting. The first time I saw one I thought it was a fake flower.

I wondered what these flowers are called! Seen them in lots of shops for sale - the little ones and the big ones! Lovely low key!

Superb lighting, beautifully arranged - I saw Bill's shot too, you're good and definitely were some type of decorator in a past life!

truth of the matter appears to be that you have the most time when you're busy

What an exquisite low-key image. I love how the light bounces off the right side of the shot.

I can tell you with solid authority that you will most definitely not have more time when you retire. I love anthuria BTW. Didn't know they thrive in Toronto!
