can't wait to cut the cake

this bridal party was hanging around the secret gardens before they went to their reception at the sheraton hotel. i'd have loved to have taken a photo of the bride and groom right smack in the middle of that fabulous arch but i had to put away my tripod as security told me in a very pleasant and polite way that they have a 'no tripod' policy. so when i was ready to shoot, everyone else came, the ushers, the bridesmaids, the gaffers and they just all smoked and chatted. i don't know who was the groom because missy kept hugging and kissing all the men in suits. :-)

and yes, i will have more from this shoot in the next couple of days (or weeks!) ;-D

playing high contrast black and white for this month.
This is fabulous what a great candid story shot.

Really cool framing. Would have been splendid had the bridal couple placed themselves correctly for you to get your desired shot!

I like that the dude in the shades is looking right at you while everyone else seems none the wiser. Frankly, I think this candid moment in high key is more interesting and appealing than the typical bride and groom shot! Congrats on the PP.
