no wall, no ceiling, no floors

didn't i promise you a ceiling, katy? this is it!

and what are those? a pair of feet, that's what. the ceiling of one of the food courts around here in downtown toronto, serves as a giant skylight for the foodcourt below. the other side is a court yard with tables and chairs where people can socialize or stay in the sun during lunch hours. it's quite weird watching people passing by from below. the footsteps reminded me of tadpoles! this pair here was moving rather slowly and i would guess that the person was on his/her cellphone.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated. also muchos thank you for your generous faves on yesterday's window dressing post.
Good shot! The window makes for a nicely graphic shot.

Quite the dramatic shot. How strange to be below and see what occurs above. And beautiful offering for the HighC challenge

I would get a crick in my neck from watching what's going on up there! Cool capture

@olivetreeann @grammyn @salza - thank you, my good friends.

i was almost lying down on the bench during my lunch trying to capture as many feet above me, most of which were blurry because of people walking fast, save for the occasional ones who I'd hazard a guess would've been texting. i like this though because there's something else to look at aside from the pair of feet. i could perhaps have corrected the lines on the right if i knew how to do that in photoshop.

Can you see up their legs?? Surely not - window must be opaque! Hope you weren't dizzy when you finally got up!
