today, at the office, we had a tea party to celebrate the third year of our diversity program. there were tiny sandwiches, scones, strawberry jam, clotted cream, and petit fours comme dans le photo. i brought these home to photograph them so i have something to offer you. i ate the pink one and it was trés délicieux, of course!
sometimes, i wonder why i pursued other things when i could've become a pastry chef and have my own bakery....nah! i'd be bigger than a bus if i did as i would only end up eating everything i bake.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - good question. don't tell Her Majesty but yesterday, i put on a dollop of each on my little plate and soaked the broken up scone like i would a ciabata on olive oil and balsamic. i was careful no one saw me - they were busy listening to the speeches. :-)
They look almost too good to eat! I am looking at this having just eaten some homemade scones with jam and cream. Now realising that I should have taken a photo first. Oh well an excuse to have some more tomorrow :-)
