a summer place by summerfield

a summer place

remember this? see how the garden has grown! and they were set up for the afternoon tea. wouldn't it be nice if we could actually sit and relax in this atmosphere?

if you look closely two of the kitchen help were wearing a netting over their heads - they were going to harvest some honey from the beehives! sadly, i couldn't stay for that as my lunch hour was over.

folks, once again, thank you for your kind visits and comments, as well as your generous faves on yesterday's petit fours photo; know that they are all greatly appreciated.

I like how much this looks like a scene from a toy setup -- maybe a scene in an tiny train set.

Nice to see how all those herbs have grown, cool that they even harvest their own honey.

Ok I love this, and also I adore that happy summer tune that I never knew the name of - thank you for that... This is a wonderful rooftop garden, so wonderful they have this! I would observe it daily... Very cool contrast with the July shot too, it has grown indeed!

That is so cool- herb garden and hives for honey- all on a roof top. And it really has grown too. I wonder if they'll put up a small green house for the winter months.
