half a glass, literally by summerfield

half a glass, literally

i will not claim any artistic merit to this but i don't want to stress myself anymore than i have to or that will just aggravate my dizziness. i googled how to shoot glassware but almost all tutorials call for those outside flash thingamajiggers. a pair of them. well, i only have one and it's somewhere in the boxes in the backroom. so i used my lightpad as background but the white cloth underneath the glass registered an ugly grey in the photo.

for the black and white challenge.
Worked out really well! Beautiful shot.

Yes it is a la northy. Very well done proving it isn't always necessary to have a thingamajigger! Most excellent.

Yep I like it too, don't think I could do it though...

Oooooh, I do like this. Try setting a custom white balance in the camera for the white here. :)

Love this... great idea. Nice and clean and crisp shot.

I think it's fine- I like that you see the outline of the glass more than the shape. Good start- you'll improve it should you decide to do another.
