there was a little girl
whose name was talula
she always liked to swirl
and dance the hula
but her mother's a churl
hit her with a spatula
then was chased by a squirrel
drove her to the land of tra-la-la!
i will not try to take credit for that poem even though i wrote it myself just now. well, let me explain meself. you see, i slipped in the tub this morning. it happened so fast that whilst i was falling, i hit the side of my face on the wall, and because i knew i would end up with a broken bone if i didn't try to slow down the fall i tried so hard to dissimulate the fall i ended up palming the floor on the outside of the tub while my right elbow scraped down the tiled wall. i got up slowly checking if my back hurts, which thankfully it didn't. at the time. well, as the day went on, the aches and the sores from all over had manifested and so i have to take a strong painkiller (prescribed for something else previously). but it's not killing the pain and the soreness but making my head crazy, especially when i saw the spatula-las.
mein gott! methinks i've gone bonkers!
but in the english language that is spoken somewhere else, we call this bloody thing a turner. and the spatula a scraper. pah!
Clever poem whether drug induced or not. It seems you can't catch a break. I hope by now you are feeling a little bit better. Be nice to yourself and rest up. This one looks especially fabulous on black
I understand about the fall- although my dramatic fall took place while coming into the house one afternoon. We are still missing the front screen door after that. I hope the aches and pains subside soon- but believe me, the fall hasn't affected your photography- this is great!
A lovely high key once again! Thank you for reminding me to do a mundane spatula thing - can get it done before it ends!
Hope you are feeling better soon - take care of yourself and be careful out there!
