nah, no nightingales around here but the pesky seagulls and pigeons; they certainly weren't singing. and it's berczy square that had just been refurbished in the city's effort to beautify the view of the flatiron mural. they removed the big tree off to the left that most of the time obscured the mural and half the grassy ground had been replaced by these geometric tiles. behind me is a large fountain with water spouting out of dog statues' mouth, at the top of which is a golden bone and the statues are gazing up thinking how the heck they're supposed to get to that bone. i find it tacky but i will have to muster my energy next time to take a photo of it so you could be the judge.
This is a wee bit bizarre! I find that everything looks out of place - but it may be just me.
Who would think to wrap a building like curtains being pulled back for a play.

I love this view of the renovation. It makes for a spectacular photo for you. as for the view behind you,without seeing it I would have to say tacky too.
