this is the long shot of the beaches from yesterday. i had to stand by the boardwalk which was a tad elevated from the sand. since i came to toronto, the lower part of this photo was just sand and the water starts beyond the line in the middle, and the waves can be seen from this vantage point. until last year that was the case. but not anymore after they erected the sand barrier to stem the swelling lake waters.
