the other side of the terminal by summerfield

the other side of the terminal

outside of jacksonville airport building, a thunderstorm raged on, cutting power off quite a few times while my sister and i were enjoying our lunch as we waited for our flight. this was the mural at the other side of the airport - a male this time carrying a similar bag as the giant in friday's photo.

we didn't make it to the beach and that was a big disappointment. the taxi company we engaged was quite inefficient and did not arrive until an hour after it was supposed to have picked us up. we did meet the other set of cousins though.

so it was that my sister and i spent sunday shopping at the stores across from our hotel. it was extremely hot and humid that the storms were probably a bit of a welcome break.

i'm hosting the mundane abstract challenge and i'm hoping you'd put in an entry or two http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/30233/new-abstract-mundane-challenge-paper-cups come on, you know you want to!
I think it must be an advertisement for bags! Or watches!

Love the purple!

Sounds like you made the most of the disappointing situation. Great shot with the selective colour.

It looks almost as if your camera was on the ground for this shot.

Sorry you didn't get to the beach but glad you had some time to meet the cousins and spend with your sister

Nice pop of purple. I don't like flying during bad weather.

Missed where you were going and why you were there- but looks like it was an eventful trip whatever it was!
