this is the side entrance to the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, a major performing arts venue in Toronto. it first opened in 1960 as the O’Keefe Centre and has hosted a variety of international attractions and stars. it has since changed its name to the Hummingbird Centre then to its present name.

for the current artist challenge, the featured artist is colton allen. see the lowdown here: https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/30546/artist-s-challenge-colton-allen-urban-exploration-new-challenge

FAV. there is something especially appealing about this one. I'm not sure if it's all the different angles and lines with a huge blocks of color but I definitely like it. Terrific offering for the challenge

Very cool- the tight crop has the ocd me wanting to straighten the building out!

@olivetreeann - au contraire, it isn't cropped. and it's straight as you can see by the door. the street slopes downwards starting a few yards to the left of the structure and i took it from diagonally across the street. :-)

@summerfield I knew you hadn't cropped it as in trimmed it, but I used that term to describe how you filled the frame with your subject. I also knew it was straight but the way it's built has that "crooked" feel to it which just makes me want to "straighten" it.
