the face off by summerfield

the face off

or should it be the mask off?

well, either that or another self-portrait. the high today here in toronto was -21 celcius and there's an advisory for children, seniors and pets to stay home if at all possible. i wonder what happens to those who are in-between those three categories.

so i had to be extremely creative with ideas. i did want to go outside with the beautiful sunshine and gorgeous shadows. i had wanted to take a photo of someone as he/she stood on the rather high slope bit at the park. but the bright sunshine was too good to be true and true enough the thermometre read -21.
Brrr. You made the right decision. I like your tag of "face off." Well done.

Beautiful shot. It is going down to -40C here tonight with the wind chill

Why, however cold it gets here, is there always someone somewhere who has weather colder than us. I like the dimness in the shot.

A little eerie! Wow! and I thought in the teens (F) tonight would be cold. If I've ever been out in that temperature, it's been a very long time.

Lovely masks.
When we were at our daughter's in Feb we couldn't believe how it looked so lovely and sunny outside... only to walk out there and feel the effects of -15C. It's almost uncomprehensible to us.
