zoom burst watch

for week 8 of the 52-week challenge, the challenge in the technical category is zoom burst.

today, it was raining and then it wasn't raining and then afterwards it was raining again. so aside from the fact that i have become insolent where my photography is concerned, the rain is my excuse for today for not going anywhere and pursue a pattern shot or a zoom burst shot. and it being friday night which is laundry night for me, i have a mind about shooting flowers. there is just one problem, i forgot to pick up the reception flowers. i do have a stem of silk roses but i hate fake flowers or plants, although they are quite handy during desperate times.

and then as i fiddled with the stuff in my very disorganized book shelf (i hate disorganized book shelves :-P) something fell off from one of the books and landed on the floor which i almost trampled upon but seeing that it was this watch, i at the last instance prevented from trampling on it which made me lose my balance and i almost fell but the soft box stand behind me prevented my fall at the cost of a strand of thick wire poking me on the shoulder and a rather heavy book, you know, one of those readers digest offerings about history of the crimean war, fell off from the shelf where i had to hold on to and the book promptly fell on my foot and now my bunion is agitated. that, my friends, is an example of a running paragraph and that is not good writing.

where were we? ah, the watch. i had guessed that most posting for this challenge would be flowers or trees, with the occasional cat or dog or toddler - not that there's anything wrong with those :-P. and so i did a test shot and i liked the result and i hope you would, too, as i don't have any other clever offering to you for today.

Love your stories and how you tie them together with your beautiful photos

Awesome!

I like how the zoom burst is subtle here, juxtaposed to the flamboyant story. Well done, my respect, Mrs. S.!

Your ramble tied everything together very nicely. This is a cool zoom burst (a new term for me). May I recommend that you purchase one of those good collapsible step ladders for your household chores? Of course your stories won’t be as unique, but you will have sure footing and you will be safe!

Oh dear, poor you! Where's little blue tho?

I like how the subject of your zoom burst practically fell in your lap, so to speak. Love your rambling. Sorry the book fell in your foot.

Subtle but classy zoom burst.

For some reason, your shot brings to mind ‘ET go home’ - time perhaps...
Hope you are OK!

I think it is hilarious writing but sorry to hear your bunion is agitated. great zoom burst though so all worth it.

This is clever stuff. I’ve never heard of a zoom burst but it creates a great effect.

Thanks for the lesson about run on paragraphs which by the way was quite interesting and also for posting this spectacular zoom burst shot. I like the subject and it is done very well

Nicely done.

Interesting - it looks like a composite. I have seen a great variety of zoom bursts this week and this is a most fine one. I do apologise - your second paragraph had me laughing.
