my boss lives near high park where the sakura cherry blossoms are. this morning he alerted me that today was the best time to see the blossoms as tomorrow the weatherman predicts rain.
so after boss left, i also left for the park which was a good 45-minute travel. also it was best to come in the late afternoon to avoid the tourist buses that normally get there in the morning.
the cherry blossoms were indeed showing and i walked around the park for a good two hours. and what do i have to show for it? this. this stand of trees were in a section of the park where it is surrounded by tall shrubs of evergreens. took this from way afar and thankful photobombers only appeared in the frame after a couple of shots.
i do realize that i have been neglecting you but know that your support is greatly appreciated. i try to catch up as much as i can but heck! darn work is always getting in the way. this afternoon's excursion was as much a surprise as it was a welcome break.
Beautiful composition for the half and half. The cherry are really beautiful. I think we can Al understand about work getting in the way of comnents. We have been travelling some...not fun travels, and that gets in the way of comments too.
