winging it by summerfield

winging it

during my photo outing with mike @mikegifford he first showed me where he takes his magnificent photos of flying birds. he let me use one of his 'giant' lenses. not using my own tripod (i forgot mine and had to borrow from my goddaughter) and careful not to drop the camera with the ginormous lens, i was a bit out of my league but was still able to capture this. it was exciting! i could stay there the whole day and just birdwatch. awesome place, mike. i so envy your for your little paradise.

see mike's capture of what could be another snowy egret (there were two that were flying about) here: https://365project.org/mikegifford/365/2018-06-06

this has an amazing sparkle to it. How delightful. Great to be with other 365'ers on their patch and you did well with your borrowed giant lens. What a great image.

Wow! Kudos to you for getting such a spectacular shot with all the borrowed equipment especially! Definitely worth being on the PP. Congratulations on that too.
