we had our office's summer social this afternoon at the distillery district. some of the old "art" installations have been rid of and new ones installed. this giant metal peace sign is definitely new. it has religious symbols and cultural symbols stenciled on its surface. some more identifiable signs are the ankh, the yin-yang, the trinity, pentacle, david's star. how many can you identify?
my little mirrorless camera is useless when it comes to emergency shots and i've had enough of it. methinks i will have it traded for a gopro. i just had about enough of it and i had to use my iPhone which i loathe using for photos. i much prefer to use the bulky dslr, mind you, as the settings are much easier to manipulate.
as it is summer, i should just carry with me my nikon on weekdays and use the big gun canon on weekends.
btw, happy summer to you all. so sad though because as from tomorrow, you will notice that the days start to be shorter, at least initially by a nano second may be, but shorter nonetheless. :-P
I bought my handy little Fuji but miss the heft and comfortable curves of my nikon. Also the Fuji is a big mouth... announcing its presence with a lazy giveaway schkluk sound
I have a small Canon “purse” camera for everyday photos. Easy to use with lots of bells and whistles. This is a great art piece, quite a statement to have those symbols on a peace sign.
Nice structure. I do think your phone did quite well on this. I have a small Panasonic that I carry in my purse. Always better than my ohone, which I vacant seem to master.
