i'm not sure if these flowers can speak japanese but its appeal to me is certainly in english. :-) this particular plant still has a lot of buds about to open but i would think they are all on their way out, what with the cold temps we are now having.
my sister and i went to see the movie "a star is born". mind you, notwithstanding that i have always been a big barbra streissand fan, i have never seen the movie with her in it, even when i have the opportunity to see it. but this new one intrigued me. i'm not a fan of bradley cooper nor lady gaga but i've seen the trailers and i am suitably impressed with their voices. even more impressed with gaga's acting. but then again if you move around in those crazy outfits, then that should be counted as good acting.
i picked up a really nice line from the final song in the movie -- "my world keeps turning and turning but i'm not moving on." it's depressing and romantic at the same time, don't you think?
@quietpurplehaze I have a mixture of pink an white, but pink are hardier I think. Vikki the contrast of white on dark is very effective, not sure about seeing that film though as I like Judy Garland/james Mason original
That is a good line from the movie. I can certainly identify with it. Perhaps sometimes the challenge in life is to stay still whilst everything around is turning and turning. Just a thought. The anemone flowers are looking weary of life whilst the buds beside them full of hope. I hope they make it into this world! Lovely capture.
