today is the day of the dead. it is similar to "all souls day" or "all saints day" in the catholic world, when the devouts light candles all night to guide the visiting spirits and the lost spirits on their way to wherever it is the spirits go.
Beautiful colors. I have heard of this Day of the Dead before, but I didn't know it was a Catholic celebration. I thought it was a Mexico holiday. That just shows how little I know. I learn so much on 365.
