there was an afternoon last week when we just walked around downtown chicago, at least the part that is not part of any tours. you might not like the name of this building, but surely you would appreciate the curving lines around this walkway of the (aherm!) trump building.
home now after an almost full day of waiting at the airport; my brother and his wife drove me to midway in the mid-morning so i could be at the airport two hours before my flight which is at 1:00. the flight itself only took a little bit more than an hour but that meant arriving in the city during the rush hour. as i didn't have breakfast and lunch, i hung around and ate a leisurely early dinner before hopping on the subway train to home.
after 10 days, i am so looking forward to sleeping on my bed. i suppose it is true for everyone that no matter how comfortable your accommodations are when away, there's nothing like being at home.
I know this is one of @ukandie1 's favorite spots to photograph, because of the reflected glass. Looks like you had a beautiful day. And at least you don't have to see the oversized letters!
Not everyone hates Trump... a lot of us voted for him! Always makes me sad to see Canadian friends disparage him when there's so much misinformation on the news... Lovely location however & you were in such good company!
