last friday when i went to the market, there were tulips available for cheap. well, cheaper than the flower shop above ground of the market which was selling for 8 stems for $12. the underground shop was selling it for $11 for three bunches of 5 each, and they had this blush pink colour which i love. upstairs they only had yellow and dark coral red. the flowers were hardly peeking out of their stems that's why they still look newly bloom a week later.
i had planned to go and photograph at the city's west end and some shopping for winter boots, but i never made it out of my apartment's door. we had howling strong winds and wet snow for most of the day and that combination of weather is one i wouldn't subject myself to. hopefully, as it stopped early in the evening, the grounds would not have turned into an ice rink tomorrow when i go to the office.
