my sister and i were looking for a restaurant when we passed by an ethnic store selling an assortment of middle eastern stuff. on the display window was this jug. we went in to explore what goodies we may find and they had a slew of clay cooking pots and clay wine jugs. i was prepared to buy this jug but i didn't have cash on me and i'm not very confident using my debit card in small stores. so i just asked permission to take a photo and the guy manning the store was busy on the phone and couldn't stop conversing so he just waved his permission and i got a photo for today.
It is beautiful, I hope you go back and buy it! Years ago I thought it would be fun to cook in clay, but honestly I never invested in a proper clay cooking pot.
