this is the other side of mural #7. got lucky that there was not much traffic or no parked cars. my office is about four or five blocks away from the market place.
on weekdays, the building is not in use. on saturdays it is a farmer's market and that's where you'll find the freshest cheese and vegetables. on sundays it is an antique cum flea market. the stalls in the front are usually occupied by crafters and artist types selling their wares.
the condominium building behind has a multi-cinema (cheap, too!), a full size supermarket, and restaurant and other smaller fast-food shops. across the street is of course the st. lawrence market. time to explore the market building itself. maybe when there's sunshine one of these days and when it's not too cold.
A lovely, cozy place. When I visit a city I usually go to the market. It is the place to be, the place where the local people buy their food en meet eachother.
