of flowers and birdcages

on my way to meet a friend to have sushi dinner, i passed by this house's garden with a tree teeming with white flowers (i feel godawful not knowing my trees and flowers aaarghh!) but what caught my attention was the birdcage hanging from it. there was no bird inside so i guess it was there for decoration. i didn't have my canon with me so i used the kodak camera i have in my purse and this camera is set so that it only takes photos in sepia. it was almost dusk coupled with the gloomy weather, thankfully the rain had stopped, and this is the best i could get - even i am straining my eyes to find the birdcage. yet, i managed to put in my selfie somewhere in the picture. tee-hee!

Very nice- odd place for a bird cage but it works. If that was MN I would guess a crabapple tree. You fit into the shot perfectly.

@cscecil - thanks, CS. i'm going to go back there when the weather is more decent and i will take a coloured photograph. i'm really enamoured with the set up of the birdcage, i want to show it more. can't wait to see what you're going to come up with!
