"Something in the way she moves,
Attracts me like no other lover.
Something in the way she woos me.
I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how.
Somewhere in her smile she knows,
That I don't need no other lover.
Something in her style that shows me.
I don't want to leave her now,
You know I believe and how."
(Harrison, from the album "Abbey Road", 1969)
"Something" is the second most covered song of the Beatles, after 'Yesterday'; more than 150 artists, including Lena Horne, James Brown and Frank Sinatra had covered/performed this song in concerts. The most successful cover, reaching #4 in UK charts, was that of Shirley Bassey.

here's that other sneaky photo i took yesterday. i saw this young man taking pictures of the clouds. he had a wingman with him, looking out for traffic and pedestrians. when the lights had changed i was walking behind these two and i took out my little point and shoot and shot this, aiming at his camera. kind of hard to do when you're walking and i couldn't see my screen.
so my subject (and inevitably his wingman/friend) ended up without a head which is alright by me.
@karenann - then he'd be taking a picture of me taking a picture of him while he's taking a picture of me! oooh, that just gave me a headache. :-) but thank you, karenann.
@sunnygreenwood - i suppose the addage 'practice makes perfect' is true! hahahaha. i see a lot of people with big cameras so it's possible somewhere there's a sneak shot of me by other people, too. i just hope they got my good side. lol! yes, one more song. but i've already posted my all time favourite on september 1st! thank you, anne.
I do love that song -- and I love yet another Sneaky Shot by Summerfield. Or, Summerfield's Sneaky Shots. It'll be a new theme - or a book -- and totally delightful! Very cool shot!!!
again, love this song. they just have so many good ones, but as you mentioned, this one is/was so popular. your photo is awesome. so, you have the same problem i do, that you can't see what you are shooting at sometimes? i am currently researching cameras to see what i can afford so i can get rid of that issue. so sick and tired of taking blind shots while outside.
@catsmeowb - blind shots happen to me when the sun's so bright and it's hitting the camera's screen. in this case though, i didn't want anyone to see me taking a picture of these guys, and i was so near the both of them that if they look at each other sideways, they'd surely see me. so i had the camera down below my chest so i couldn't see the screen. i actually wanted to take a shot only of the guy's hand holding his camera but because i can't look at the screen i had to 'blindly' take a shot.
this is a small (sneaky) Nikon coolpix which i recently got on sale. it takes a lot sharper pictures and it's very light and easier to use. on the weekends, i use a 'bridge' camera, a fuji finepix, but i normally would use my cannon. i doubt though that i'd ever graduate to a dslr. could never figure out settings and whatnots of a camera. so point and shoot it would be forever for me.
@russianblue - thanks! we should do that. it's better to have company i would think. we can pretend we're taking each other's pic when we're actually taking sneak shots. i think that's how to do it! :-)
another George Harrison song...I am always astonished that Lennon and McCartney always get the credit for writing the Beatles songs yet George gave us some of the very best (Here Comes the Sun being my favourite I think); interesting image to go with a deceptively simple song

@bkbinthecity - thanks, bkb! hi to melody.
@jannkc - i wish though that i had gotten his face; he's actually a rather good looking dude. thanks, jann.
@altadc - thanks, alta.
