the oldest man in the group of bikers (see story in http://365project.org/summerfield/365/2012-05-07 ) didn't drive his motorcycle today to attend their weekly meeting. he drove down instead. in this. i'm not a fan of fancy cars although they are nice to photograph, but this alfa romeo is quite attractive. the seats are in black leather and the steering wheel is brown leather. you can see how shiny the chromes are: they're bluish because of the reflection of the cloudless sky this morning. it's obviously a very well maintained car. if i would have to covet a car, this would be it, this particular one.
-o0o-
cloudy this afternoon and my shots using the new camera were all shot! hehehe! gotta read the manual. when i retire.
@sunnygreenwood - i prefer to drive a van, it's not small and yet it's not big either. i just like to be way above ground and not feel like the tractor trailers are going to roll on me in the highway. thank you, anne.
What a cool car! The red is gorgeous. Well shot, and I love your use of selective coloring. 8) I don't drive but if I did and had a car, it would have a custom pattern on it, very likely Dalmatian or giraffe spots. 8D
@olivetreeann - thank you, ann. nah, you're not crazy. if we dream, we might as well dream exactly what we want, just in case it's given to us, right? :-)
@myautofocuslife - ohhh, like cruella de ville? cool. i've seen one around toronto - a honda with all the spots but it was being driven by a guy who should've been on a harley. thank you, livia.
@danig - as for me, i'm too old. can't handle anything hot anymore, especially if it's a guy. it would just be me and my camera. although i would need one to lug it around with me.
OOOHHHHHH- how did i miss this? i am a sports car junkie. malcolm does NOT care for them at all. calls them very creative names that i can't type here - wonderful shot! when i had my midget, all the bikers used to wave as we passed on the road. and the dogs looked down into the car. coolio.
