i tend to take too many photos and in the process overlook some or forget what i've taken. i did this two saturdays ago and completely forgot about it until tonight when i was stumped what to post. too many shots and i was still stumped.
this is my first, albeit lame, attempt at light painting (or writing). i used a white LED flashlight that's why this looks like black and white, but you can see a tinge of green which was the light of the wireless remote, just so you know this was shot in colour.
thank you for your views and kind comments; it is much appreciated.
Nice one. I think it's great. Well done.
Now a whole world of light painting, light trails and night shots have presented opportunities to you. Funny, my post today is about night shots. See: http://www.photokonnexion.com/?p=8090
@pandorasecho - wow! that's an old, old book. we had that in a compilation of other stories but i can't remember the title of the book nor could i find it online. i remember messing it for other children by telling them that fireflies die at dawn. some kids cried, and i had to bring a jar full of dead fireflies the next day to prove it. thank you, dixie.
@espyetta - hahaha! actually i couldn't find it. i took about 500 shots that day and i put them in separate folders according to places and i forgot where i filed this and got lost in the shuffle. thank you, MB. i just ETSOOI'd a shot for my get pushed challenge. might you judge it before i tag my pusher, please and thank you.
@michaelelliott - not happy with this and definitely will try it. i see that you are in the get-pushed challenge. one of these times, someone's going to challenge you to do that, but i know you will excel. thank you, ME.
@tanja_1211 - thank you, tanja. i couldn't even do a heart, came out like a question mark! :-) i think you, beau and i should have a week's marathon of light painting. some boring winter nights!
Am a bit scared of the 'get pushed challenge' but that is exactly why I should try it I suppose (random comment, but been reading the above...). Clever light art photo for a first attempt, good thing to have under your belt for the winter months!
@jackie8 - yes, the get-pushed challenge forces you to think and do outside of your comfort zone. so far i've been lucky that i could get the push right away. you should try it even once, who knows you might get to like it, too. thank you, jackie.
