the very clever northy @northy happens to be my partner for this week's get pushed challenge. she gave me two options: "option 1 - do some alphabet photography and spell out a word... The only ruleis you can't use any letters - only objects that look like letters... option 2 - do a set up shot for something in your kitchen and make it look like an image that would appear in a swanky home decor or foodie magazine..."
foolish, foolish moi, i opted for option 1 thinking i did a month of that, a few more letters won't hurt. bah, hambug! the letters have all deserted me. so my trip to the islands yesterday was actually to find the letters and whew! it took me three hours and 500 shots (half of which was ridiculously crappolas) and several more hours browsing through to find the letters that were there earlier and suddenly they're all gone. but it only took a few hours of sleep and le voilà, mesdames et monsieurs, my get pushed masterpiece!
p.s. - methinks you need to don on your creative caps to make out the three words. :-D

it is such a very amusing conundrum that with just a few comments and definitely not a lot of faves, the flatiron photo is still thriving on the pp. go figure. but of course, am always extremely grateful for your views, comments and favs, whether my photos land on the pp or not.
@olivetreeann - i haven't done any prep yet for Christmas. i guess with the boys not being around it just doesn't mean so much to me, at least this year. we will go to london to see the other set of grandkids on saturday. looking forward to that. otherwise, partner and i will just have a quiet Christmas, which is not bad at all. thank you, ann.
