artist challenge #53 - in the style of vivian maier
when i saw this maier photograph, i knew where to go for a photo opp. not exactly the same but close, methinks. i have a few candid shots, too, of people, but i'm in love with this particular photograph of hers: http://www.vivianmaier.com/ gotta case the joint some more.
it being saturday, there was a lot of people so gotta come back and get an improved perspective in the p.m. so i don't get a lot of nasty looks. this is, of course, the st. lawrence market, west side looking south.
taken in black and white and used one of those funky monochrome effects in ribbet (i think it's either fiji or morocco).
