Wow, I have never ever seen this many swans together...three or four at a time is about the most. We get large numbers of Canada geese together but our swans seem to be in much shorter supply.
@gardencat I had never seen anything like this before either. It's a swan sanctuary on the south coast of England. The swans come and go as they please but I think some stay there all the time while others come and go. It's spectacular. I'm hoping to visit again in August.
