Painted Lady on Buddleia

I posted a photo of a painted lady taken in the garden back in August. It was the first time I'd seen one. Then I saw this one a couple of weeks ago at Rainham Marshes reserve.

@beryl @dizzyd Thank you both for your nice comments. It's not been a particularly good year for butterflies, especially here in Mid Wales. The butterflies, buddleia and yellow daisies weren't really synchronised.

@pennyrae I just checked out where you live Penny. I knew it couldn't be the UK because we don't have Monarchs here which is a shame. I only get to see them when I visit butterfly houses. They're beautiful.
