Very Common Sparrow on Exotic Plant

Today I went to the Botanic Gardens again with my friend Nicola. It rained most of the day so we spent a lot of the time indoors - in glasshouses and coffee shops. We had a very enjoyable day.
This picture was taken inside The Great Glasshouse which houses plants from all the regions of the world which have a Mediterranean type climate. It seems incongruous seeing this common little sparrow on this exotic plant.
