I went to Llandrindod Wells today and walked around the lake. I happened to spot this butterfly. I got quite excited because it's a Comma and I've only ever seen one once before, three years ago and that was in the garden. It seems so late in the year now for butterflies so I don't expect to see any more.
I do love butterflies.this one is a beauty..nowadays we see them less and less,when we were young girls,they always seemed to be loads about,and we would run after them down the fields..or am I just being nostalgic for days gone by...!
@brennieb I think you're right Brennie about there not being as many as there used to be. It varies from year to year too. This year hasn't been a good year - not enough sun.
