We went to a gig the other day (Show of hands) in the most amazing music venue. It is called Carnglaze Cavern's.
It is an old slate quarry which has several huge caverns and underground lakes that are big enough to have rowing boats on them. The largest of the caverns is known as the "Rum Store" because it was at one point used as just that by the royal Navy. It is now a fabulous music venue with awesome acoustics.
You can visit the caverns during the day and they are well worth seeing if you are in the area. They also have some stunning forest walks for those who enjoy exploring the wildwoods.
