Faucon is a tiny hilltop village (with a wonderful "Bakery" - restaurant open til about 3:00). We enjoyed a long lunch while listening to the thunderstorm raging outside. After lunch, the skies cleared for a short walk for a lovely view of the surrounding vineyards. And there's always an interesting ruin to explore.
I am still recovering from our lunch out with friends, so no energy to walk. I don't think I am going to eat again for a week.
glad you were able to spot this lovely scene after your long lunch. looks like a really interesting place to explore.
Another intriguing capture. I'd love to know the story of what looks to be the remains of a dwelling of some description. Strange how close the base of the - window? - is to the top of the arch.
Wonderful. Did you take a trip planned for you? Or did you just discover places? A young friend has tied up with a Parisian friend to plan unusual trips in France.
@veengupta Nothing really planned ahead except where we are staying. We have friends in the area and were here before, so just kind of picked some interesting spots but mostly to relax and enjoy the company, food, and wine.
