Shakespeare on Navy Pier by taffy

Shakespeare on Navy Pier

Junko and I had fun at Navy Pier tonight, seeing a musical version of Jane Austen's Emma at the Shakespeare Theater. One of the boats that offers dinner and other tours is parked nearby, but no one is going anywhere on it with freezing cold weather.
See Junko's image from the rooftop, looking off the other side of the pier here: https://365project.org/jyokota/365/2020-02-20
I find this scene intriguing -- a giant ship next to the Shakespeare Theatre. And I like the b&w version very much.

It looks as though they docked the boat and went to the theater. Great shot!

Another fabulous Chicago image!! You have such a variety of choice for your photography!! I love Chicago as you know and always love to see your wonderful images!! Many thanks for all your comments on my images - much appreciated!! We have now arranged two months in Devon - April and May but we have a lot to go through before we get there. We are finding the packing up of downstairs contents - books, china etc a major task. My one big hope is that the insurance company cover all the costs including a new kitchen. Not hopeful though as already they questioning exactly what work will be needed. Roy my builder says they always argue about replacing a kitchen as that's the most expensive item. Fingers crossed!!

I like the way you've balanced this composition between the theater, the night sky and the boat. Great night shot!
