I've been heavily immersed in the photo courses on color that I started taking for the past few months. I've been using images taken over the past 10 years, learning to do 'fine art' editing for color to build on the work we did in the print class. I returned to the rookery photos I had taken with Junko in April 2021 and applied what I had learned to process a few that were outside my skill level back then. I've learned a lot about how to navigate in Photoshop to do 'simple' edits cleaning up distractions and, now, getting the colors to be more accurate. Here's one result. The next two weeks focus on the color, red, which should be interesting. I've missed posting and commenting so decided to 'pop in' this weekend and enjoy browsing.
@jnadonza Junko knew of a rookery in the Chicago park district area so we hiked into it. It was quite the spot, except for the ticks which were numerous. I still have a lot of photos to work through.

This looks lovely on the white background, how exciting to take a photography course in person, there is so much to learn! Looking forward to what you share in the coming weeks.
