We've finally gotten settled in more or less on the island and today was the first chance I had to photograph. What a joy to have such pretty nature just outside the door. A definite contrast to city living.

I finally have the printer up and running and created a background of an iris that I put through a bunch of Topaz Impression steps to have it blurred and abstract, then used my little Plamp set to isolate the flower, and my macro lens on a tripod. It was fun! I love having a photo printer at home!
