Word for today is colour (or color in our end of the world). I liked the idea more than the execution and don't have the time to keep going. Crayons taken with long exposure, then processed in small planet with a little tweaking. Disappointing. Oh well.
Its weird how we get disappointed when our ideas don't come out the way we expect BUT we still manage to appeal to our audience with our results. This definately appeals to me :)
@yaorenliu I was diisappointed because the image I had in mind was a sort of blurred macro in the form of http://365project.org/tishpics/365/2013-09-17 - @tishpics shot. But I couldn't get the color combination right or the balance of the crayons. I ended up doing this shot as a backup because I was frustrated at the other ones. But in the light of day today, I'm happier with it -- it just wasn't what I'd spent most of my time trying to create. Weird how that shapes how I look at a shot rather than letting the shot stand on its own!
I'm glad you liked this picture after you had time to get over it not being what you wanted, because it is really good; colorful and full of energy. You are using small planets really creatively.
@danielwsc It's a really fun app, Daniel. Once I stopped trying to do the buildings and use it for other things, it was actually a more interesting app to play with. I do have a few building shots I may eventually post if I need a filler down the road. But it's so much more fun doing abstract stuff with it.
@mikegifford A good idea -- editing it like crazy would be fun! If only I could actually submit...or I guess I could, just not make it eligible for the top 5!
