Junko and I had only a few hours between being dropped off in NYC on Sunday and catching our flight home. Our main task was to pick up handmade dark chocolate bark at Varsano's Chocolates for Jim (from me) and for Bill (from Junko) and a small box of 'extras' for each of us. It's a tradition every trip to NYC. I thought Danbo would be excited to have all these options, but he was overwhelmed by the choices. In the end, he really enjoyed a sea salt dark chocolate caramel.
And, my get pushed challenge from @dh this week: your challenge is food photography. Does chocolate count as food?

oh a sea salt dark caramel would be to die for - how cruel to torment us with this image!
:-) Great capture - I bet Jim and Bill were happy to have you both home bearing chocolate.
Oh yes - my idea of heaven - lost in a sea of chocolate!! I have never heard of sea slat dark caramel - it sounds wonderful!! And yes of course chocolate is a food!! LOL!!
Is it really bark? Like...from a tree? Next you will be telling me they have chocolate dipped witchetty grubs (imported from the Australian outback) lol Very cool idea for your photo...looks delicious :)
@kazlamont Heehee! No, it's just called almond 'bark' but it's a deep rich dark chocolate slab with almonds embedded. Then the slab is broken into irregular pieces and sold in that form. So it looks like chips of bark. And it is sooooo good! Jim opened his gift up, held it up to me as he was heading up to his office and said "say goodbye" (to the box of candy!). I'm so addicted if he left it in the kitchen pantry, I'd eat it all!
Oh I want to take Dunbos place!!!! Chocolate is most def food....I so must have chocolate now, unfortenately I have none at home cos if I had, I´d eat it all and the result would be the same, lol!
:-) Great capture - I bet Jim and Bill were happy to have you both home bearing chocolate.
