I'm getting a slight handle on this 3D tool in photoshop and it is quite fun. This took three layers -- one for the background, one turned into the 'wrap box' (which is different than box which ends up with blank sides), and one for the 'hat.' Thanks for your positive comments on the 'donut' attack yesterday. They were so motivating to keep going to try to figure this out! Next step...how to make the box smaller so it looks more like the hat is sitting on the box.
For those who have Photoshop, the key tools are in 3D-Mesh Presets, and then the controls are four ways to move around up at the top on the menu bar.
Wow another creative photo, love the magenta colour tulip. It's nice that you're sharing your fun to others, through the photos and than the helpful advice, so others can try it. Nicely done!
Wow! another great creative image. I think I could probably come to grips with PS if I try long enough but the creativity is something you either have or you don't and you have it in spades!! Brilliant.
@salza I found a bunch on YouTube and Adobe but despite their framing it as 'easy' I found it hard to keep straight all the controls they were describing.
@taffy Thanks Taffy, I had a look yesterday and also found loads. Some a lot more helpful than others. Now I must just make some time to play around 3D!
