This is the original cast iron drive cog (wallower) of the Hill Hook Corn Mill, just down the road from us. The mill operated from the 1600s and was demolished in 1970. The land is now part of a nature reserve with woodland, meadows, wetland and a small lake much loved by various water birds.
Such a great piece of history here. I like your pov to capture the abstract features of the drive cog. (The repurposing of the land sounds wonderful!)
