Taken at the top of our lane this evening looking across the field at the back of our garden. I liked the contrast between the oak which is so massive it could have been there for ever, and the field newly ploughed for planting... maize for animal feed no doubt.
Excellent processing and presentation of the sunset and oak tree. I've noticed this year that oak leaves take weeks longer to unfurl than all the other deciduous trees. They perform almost a rehearsal of Autumn colours before they dress themselves in Spring's green hues. Stunning.
I find this breathtaking Richard, the subtle balance created by the striving of the small new branches - despite the massive presence of wood in the right side.
